Payment, including copays for clients who are using health insurance benefits, is due at the time of service and can be made by check or cash. Your insurance company will be billed for their portion.

I am on-panel with Aetna, BlueCross & BlueShield, ValueOptions, Evanston Northwestern HealthSystem, Harken, Cigna and I also accept Medicare. Some insurance carriers will pay a portion of my fee even if I am not on their panel of providers.

I recommend that you call your insurance provider and ask specifically about mental health benefits, whether a deductible applies, what your copay will be, and whether they will cover my services (with the exception of those listed above). When you call, check the back of your insurance card to see if there is a customer service telephone number specifically designated for mental health or subtance abuse. For some policies, mental health benefits are administered by a different carrier and may require pre-authorization.
